I really have no excuse aside from general forgetfulness here. >_> So hopefully a visit from PAINIS CUPCAKE will set things right.

Okay, let me apply a little bit of context here. The Painis Cupcake videos chronicle the insanity of a demented, cannibalistic, homicidal, super-powered Soldier from Team Fortress 2, and all attempts to befriend/upstage/kill/flee from him.

Similar to Kitty0706′s stuff, today’s video is more story-driven than most other Gmod videos. Unlike Kitty0706, though, this story by MisterMild is dark and almost serious (though it does have a smidgen of tongue-in-cheek humor). E3 2011 Nintendo Press Conference

Because I’d volunteered myself to liveblog the Nintendo Press Conference, I had grand plans for how I would handle doing it. This plan included cross-posting here, NinDB’s forums and the LVLs forums, and it would have been spectacular if not a little chaotic.

Unfortunately, I also happen to be at work. Cross-posting across three different sites would be nigh impossible without constantly tabbing in and out from the video, annoying my brother to no end. Instead, I’ve decided to cover the conference from my Twitter account, which you can find here.

Starting next month, the company will begin shipping out a portable version of the Dreamcast…but for a price. A hefty price. They initially wanted your firstborn child, but after some legal troubles (lawyers are very picky when it comes to Moses-like  plagues) they settled on the weighty sum of ¥38,000 – which translates to $469. Is it worthwhile? Well, that’s for you to decide. I know if my Dreamcast ever broke (fingers crossed it never does), nigh $500 (with shipping included, I’m sure) would not be worth the fact that I could never play Jet Grind Radio again.

*weeps silently at the very thought.*

I hate Princess Peach. She’s a moron, she’s an archetypal damsel in distress – hell, she’s almost as outright insulting as Zelda. It’s kind of disheartening to know that Nintendo is still reliant on such an archaic cliche in a game series that doesn’t really boast much plot to begin with.
