Wildcat’s Art Archive – Snow Dragon, Shi Kurai, Black Blood and So…this webcomic

Welcome to my archive of all of my various art projects. Going well beyond what I could do at my old site, this will be a comprehensive collection of art, sketches, concepts, details and misc. information about Snow Dragon, Shi Kurai and Black Blood, all aborted comics, as well as the current So…this webcomic.

Background time! For Wildcat Online, I did two webcomics: Snow Dragon, which was about a group of college students involved in bands, and Shi Kurai, which was an adventure-humor comic that never really got off the ground. Snow Dragon evolved into So…this webcomic, grabbing elements from Shi Kurai into its universe. Both of these were fun to do, but I’m no longer the same person who drew them, if that makes sense.  Both were done when I was in community college, where I had a lot of material to work from.  Nowadays, I feel like if I continue either project, I’d not be able to replicate the enjoyment or the feeling I once had.  That’s why So…this Webcomic was created. It allows me the freedom to do whatever I feel like with no obligation to keeping it as a webcomic in format. That is the very reason Black Blood, my most recent attempt at a structured webcomic failed. I don’t like working like that I guess.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the art and details that made up these worlds, no matter their success.
